Well it's obviously not an airplane. There are no wings! I was mearly stating that the front control panel is off from a power supply that is used for cold weather suits LIKE the ones used in old airplanes.
It actually is a cobbled together pile of parts. It is in fact a generator. Part of it is the power supply from a 24 VDC suit heater used in the B52 bombers I think, back in the 40's. The gunners and cargo crew in the back of the plane wore them to keep from freezing.

Is that truley the issue? Your wife has to benefit? Or maybe that you're never home and it COSTS you money on your day off to go to DRMO??
I would do anything to help anyone in need. But if it was a weekly scheduled thing and it cost me gas money and other expenses then I would have to rethink.
I bought my 5 ton for the novelty really. That's why I ever do anything. But I have found many, many uses for it.
1) Taking my little girls to school.
2) Driving to the liquor store.
3) Just making noise.
4) Getting from home to work.
5) Going to Papa Murphy's for a pizza.

I have used this Duece Elixer of Wrecker's, in slightly different ratios, (actually more UMO).
It runs very well. The engine is actually quieter and I haven't noticed any difference in power.
