I have a m51a2 dump that I use in the excavating biz. It is as heavy as a tandem dump truck, but the box is 4' shorter can a commercial and the motor lacks 100 - 200 hp against a standard tandem or trike.
They do go better off road though, and some have a built in winch, though its hard to...
I think you want the pto off a dump, they are double sided and as mentioned are independantly controlled. I didn't know that there was an option for driving something off the t-case.
So what is the little fuel tank under the hood for on the side?
Also if I decide I wanna sell it ( heater ), how much of a pain is it to remove and what are they worth?

If you plan on pulling trailer alot you might want to put a civilian slider on. Instead of a fixed mil. spec. As for winches id go no smaller than a 5 ton front winch, and a 40k wrecker winch would be prefered for loading dead vehicles. Put a roller tail on the truck like you see on oil field...
