Bought mine in March. It had been sitting inside for a couple of years so for the last few months we've been going over everything: bleeding brakes, changing fluids, etc. Finally brought her home last weekend. Everything works except the alternator won't charge. I also have a Mk2/3 Ferret...
Bought a British armored reconnaissance vehicl, FV-721 Fox. It had been sitting for a couple of years. Bled brakes, changed fluids, etc. and everything now works except the generator (It actually has an alternator.) light is on. Quick check with VOM confirms no charge to batteries...
Sorry. Didn't see this until just now. I wouldn't have been able to make it anyway, though, as I just got home from a rough 24-hour shift at 0700 this morning and promptly crashed until about 1300. Appreciate the invitation. Will try very hard to make be next one.

OK, this is so basic that it's probably a dumb question, so please excuse my ignorance. I just got a reel of cord to tie down the bed cover on my deuce but I can't seem to find a guide that shows the "correct" way to tie it down. Can anyone here direct me to a source?
Thanks,
