Looking to get my M35A2 from Hartford WI to Wheeling, WV.
Truck drives great, I just don't have the time to get it there.
Currently soliciting bids from uShip, but looking for alternatives.
Thanks
now that there is a fine piece of information!!!
I made it home fine and did not seem to notice any shifting issues.
Ran it thru all 5 forward gears and when I got home backed it into the driveway.
I will have to mesure later to verify.
Thanks!
The truck is sitting at a friends gravel pit business. A few weeks ago some kids broke into his business and stole some minor things, but before they did they had been in my truck as an open glove box, torn seat cover and doors left open left little room for doubt. My guess is that they were...
So, I went back out to the truck today armed with all of the suggestions provided. I pulled the floor pan to get to the top of the gear box and took a couple of pictures before attemting to remove the trans cover. Before removing the trans cover I thought I would just start the truck and try one...
I am going to head back out there this morning and take the top off, I will take a couple of pictures and report back later today.
Thanks to everyone for all of the suggestions!

I left it sitting at a friends place for a few months while I was out of town, backed it into a parking space...
150 miles at 50 mph running at 2200 rpm........forgot hearing protection :(
made for a long drive, but I had a grin ear to ear! :driver:
The batteries I bought were too big to fit in the box, so Seth jumped the deuce for me and I left it running all the way home, including while I fueled up...
Exactly 2 weeks from the date I submitted the EUC I received my notification of approval.
Looking forward to heading out to Sparta next week to pick-up my new
(to me) 1971 M35A2 w/w.
Went out earlier this week to look it over and get a general idea of road worthness and feel with new...
Wreckerman,
Thanks for the info!! I won the truck Friday while in Vegas for meetings, so I am working on filling out the EUC today.....I believe I have 3 business days to do this. I guess I will need to check with the site to figure out the load out stuff as it states I have 10 days to remove...
OK, not sure what I was thinking, but on a whim I purchased a M35A2 from a GL auction. Now the fun begins
The auction website says "General Products M35A2 2.5 ton 6x6 cargo truck with win"1971 ch. Powered by a 6-cylinder LDT-465 Multifuel engine driving through a five-speed manual...
