This is the 6th harvest that my trucks have served proudly while helping me haul corn and soybeans to the grain elevator.
They don't get as many strange glances as they used to, but they are still the most unique trucks there!
I have been searching old posts and have not found what I need yet. This is a work truck and I've been busy helping my sick parents and am behind on my farm work and now both of my semi tractors have electrical gremlins.
One is at a repair shop. The other one that I'm working on tonight lost...
"SUPRDUD- What tires does your truck have on it? Mine are a little more aggressive than OTR tires, but not a lot. It's a fairly normal 'all-position' tire. I'm trying to decide if I want to put more aggressive drivers on it or just run these. With the locker I think it might be OK in all but...
There was one super low mileage and minty looking one go for over $23,000 on GL this year if I remember correctly. I know it came to over $25K with fees. They usually don't bring half of that much but the later rebuilds like yours are worth more than the earlier ones. I sure don't watch...
My county is tight with the rules, as they should be. A few years ago the head of the county's title department got caught not paying taxes properly on her items. She should be in jail for all that she cheated on, especially in her trusted position, but she ended up not serving one day...
I've read about how good the CA folks are at finding all of the hidden VIN stamps, all done behind closed doors. Very interesting work.
The deputy helping me is good, and is going to try to get a waiver for the other digits.
I know I heard him say "AM General" over the phone, maybe adding "Corp." would help the search. The door ID plate is there, but the whole number is not stamped on it. I can't find a tag anywhere on the dash or in the cab so far.
I had a new truck shipped in and while the title has all of the VIN digits, my door tag from a 2007 depot reman only shows the last 6 or so digits of the VIN. In order to get the title in my name, it has to be inspected. A deputy and I looked all over and on the frame and even called...
Looks close enough for horseshoes, hand grenades, dancing, and inner air filters!
Baldwin filters......made nearby in Kearney, Nebraska. Not too far from my house......
Thanks for that link, that's one I had not found before. I will pull out an inner and run it by the JD dealer next time I go. I was just there this morning for a planter clinic and free lunch!
My inner ones look clean and new, as they should if the outers have not failed, but I...
I have searched and been sidetracked reading for an hour and a half..... and have not found what I am looking for.
On my 915A1 that has a depot reman with a Cummins BCIII at 400hp I cannot find a cross reference at NAPA for the inner air filter # of V250C127.
The outer big one...
I have a 915A1 that was a depot reman in 2005 and the power steering pump has lost most of its power most of the time. I have the Cummins Big Cam III 400 HP engine. I am searching here and looking in my foot high stack of manuals but I hoped one of you helpful folks had the number handy...
