    In cab heater install, M35/M108

I've ran my "Dual Core" in cab heater this winter and it puts out much better. Days in the 30's I must open a window. Days in the teens I stay warm. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce/32581-do-i-really-want-heater-4.html#post442005

Do I really want a heater?

Can pop it open with room to spare. While fitting up the empty box, I shortened it enough to make sure it did not interfere while able to fit in 2 heater cores. Also, the box stands off the fire wall using the standard "L" brackets. The std blower is also offset a bit on the box so there is...

Do I really want a heater?

Heater mounted up, need to get some hose to finish her up. My heater is pushed back about 6" and up from the floor about 9 1/2". It's as far back and high as I can get it to make as much passenger floor space as possible.

Do I really want a heater?

Reading this post and others about poor coolant heater output and I was inspired to try an idea, a "Dual Core" in cab heater box. It's my shot at improving the heat output of the coolant heater box by moving it from under the hood to inside the cab drawing in recirculated air and improve the...

    In Tank Fuel Pump FIX

This thread came at a perfect time! I just changed fuel filters today and no fuel flow. Came in the house and checked SS and the answer was right here. My fuse holder was corroded just like the pics. Cleaned her up, put in a new fuse with some of that anti corrosion bulb socket goop and she...

    Rustolem Paint Job

I painted it a little over 2 years ago. I agree with the the others guys, it does fade a bit. I took phone picks this evening and attached. If I had a do over, it would be spending an extra weekend on rust prep. Pesky small over looked places under the original paint can chip away if water gets...

    Rustolem Paint Job

This pic is better, about 2 years now, paint brush touch ups here and there. I'm happy.

    Rustolem Paint Job

I did rust prep first, wire brush, scrap, and some sanding followed with Rustolem rust primer (the rust brown color), then I mixed Rustolem Hunter Green with about 1/8 the same rust primer. Be careful, not too much rust brown, it turns dark pretty fast. I thinned and sprayed. Seems to match MC...

    Stuck deuce.. a long day...

That's great your better half helped out like that! I can't get mine to drive yet. Still working on it though. I'll show her your post for sure! In my case the road went "S" and I went straight in near white out snow. I got hung in a ditch groove that got the best of me. Forward and backward...

    Stuck deuce.. a long day...

Hmm.. Rear Axles Singled, I got stuck same way. I got stuck the same way last winter. Any thoughts on dual vs singles contributing to getting stuck easier?
