Hey Ryan, sorry to ask this, but what did you give for that machine, I am sure its bad form but I am looking at 3 duces at this time and wondering what to expect. I have seen em go for 4 grand and 10 grand. thanks
I had one in my toyota pick up, it was toast in about 2 years. I would bother again to be honest. I did make a get out of jail machine, a 5 hp motor connected via belt to a 90 amp alternator, I fire it up and I can jump start any machine I own...mounted it to a small wagon, it has a big deep...
dont forget
cardboard, super cheap or free, keeps you off the cold ground, catchs spills. Duct tape of course. I put double hose clamps on everything and I carry a few small sections of copper pipe that I can plug into a hose should it burst open, the extra clamps just make it fast to repair...
12 volt power
I took a 5 hp briggs, and hooked it to a 12 volt 80 amp generator. I use that for jump starts/battery charging and running all sorts of 12 volt lights, ect. It also has a 120 volt starter for the briggs, so fire up the Honda first to start the 5 hp and your off to the races, nice...
