I see you are using a lot of high quality ORD parts on your rig.
Stephen at ORD is a **** of a guy. Been friends since the first
blazer bash in 2000. Course...it is nice to have ORD 65 miles
away from the house.
There's the picture i forgot from back in the day....
I think you missed my point...i have the complete 3 piece
set...winter front...tailgate pad...and roof cover...which i

Without getting flamed or being accused of not following forum rules....
I just located and cut a deal with a guy in Co. Springs for a FWC camper
for my lifetime 79 K5 CUCV look alike project. Looks like this...
So the artic covers will have to find a new home. They are rare and probably

Winterization Covers M1009
If this upload works....
This is what the rest of the M1009 covers look like installed.
In the near future these will need a new home if i can latch
onto the rare FWC Blazer camper i am trying to find for the

The banks sidewinder kit is $2500 brandy new plus tax etc. So in that respect your getting a good deal.
I can not advise on the difference felt after install but i have a few friends at CK5.com that say it was
worth the work to install!
You didn't get that 1031 from ebay did you...saw a sweet...
I'll post a wanted at ck5 and see what i dredge up. Then i shall learn to use craigslist...never have done a search on it.
Resto might be a grander word than i intend...refurb might be a better word. If you want pm whom to stay away from
so i can avoid a pitfall.

Got 6 acres out here in fruita colorado i visit 2 or 3 days a month when not drilling ahead out in the hills. Problem is i have 8 K5's already....have zero time to work on or modify them anymore so i need a cherry to garage and be ready to haul buns when the need arises...does anybody specialize...
AJM.....hhmmm...older than dirt CK5 member like myself i think?
Anyways the 1010 or 1031 wouldn't be bad for me as it will be used for oilfield transportation to and from the rig.
Of course...there is always the 4L80E or gear vendors route to cure the non o/d issue.
Both variants have a cube on...
Been mulling this over for a while...and even though i allready have 8 K5's in various stages of dis repair....lol...i think i want to find a super clean M1009 so i have a turn key road ready back up for my work truck...a 2006 2500 HD Dmax that seems to always develop an issue at the last...
I agree that a well built 700R4 with an appropriate GVW external cooler can do a great job. Thyat being said a junkyard bargain 700R4 is not the way to go....its the classic case of you get what you pay for when it comes to the durability of a 700R4.
I got one run out of the 1400 dollar one i...
Regardless....i'd still love to own one of these jewels.
Can anybody provide any info on the S.E.E.'s? Manuals...
more photos's...selling prices...ie:DRMO....civy lots...etc.
