It must be like a 58 then... the first series of numbers are just saying its a pickup then the last is the year as long as its between the start and end right?
We got the bed working today on it just have to replace some hydraulic lines and it should work out pretty good. I was looking through...
We just got this jeep in the shop, it has a hydraulic dump bed on it. I was wondering if anyone can help me on the year of it. It runs good, you can barely even hear it running. It was two pumps on it, one for the plow and one for the dump bed.
Thanks guys, i checked and there isn't a data plate or anything, there probable was at one time but not no more. I think i am going to check with a fabricator that we have near here and see what he could make up.
bobm, thanks for that offer but i think i might try and see if i can fix her up...
I recently got this off my uncle and i can't figure out what the year is or anything The body is really rough but it starts and runs really good. I will probably be looking for a body for it pretty soon. If you guys could help i need to know the year and where to start looking for a body...
I think that you will have a hard time finding a motor club to cover your vehicle, the motor clubs only pay the service provider a percentage of the call so once the service provider knows what has to be hauled he might just turn it down. AAA and cross country have medium towing for the motor...
I kinda feel a little dumb now, I got one of those with my wrecker and thought that it would somehow go onto were the controls are for the boom. I never could figure it out, and now i know why. Thanks for the pic and that truck sure does look good. The next time i think i know what something is...
Thanks, i thought you guys would know what they were. Now does anyone have any pics of the towbar. My wrecker came with a different version of it. and just to make sure the stabalizers for the boom (the very long heavy ones that extend) are just for the boom and are nothing to do with the flat...
We have used duplicolor in the past on one of our wrecker beds, then we switched back to raptor liner. It can be tinted to what ever color you want. When we redid the inside or the m543a2 we used it and it has held up really well. Also with our wreckers the raptor liner has always stood the...
When i bought the m543a2 these came with it, I really am not to sure what they are for but I know that you guys probably do.
Also when using the snatch block for the front or rear winch where do you guys attach to the wrecker, the only thing that i found were those little shackles on the...
The truck does have a tow bar on it, but because of the wheel base and the fact that it only goes 50 mph it will mainly be for recoveries. We have a 20 ton freightliner that handles pretty much anything heavy but in the winter we get a lot of snow so this should be able to help out and get some...
RE: Re: Good undercoat
We use alot of matrix systems supplies, They have a good epoxy primer. What we usually do is use the black epoxy then go over the epoxy with a filler primer (2k) then we block it out and fix any imperfections. Then you can thin out the epoxy and use it as a sealer. The...
We are on m13 just north of linwood rd, if don't see it out there and the shop is open just stop on in.
I will check on the tire size this morning, i do know they are firestone.
well, i got most of it done besides some little things that i have to do one the weekends. I ended up nameing it after my grandpa leonard Ballor or as he said it "st. Len" , he was in world war 2 and died last year. I know a lot of you guys like to see them in army camoflauge but these are the...
