Well it's a long story but my 802A ran out of diesel today. It didn't shut down because the floats do not work and it always thinks it has 25% fuel.
I got it restarted but now for the first time ever, the electrical is cutting out on it. The lights go out, so I go outside and the diesel is...
Hi,
That looks great. I've been looking for some ideas. Where did you get the winch from. Is it for a spare tire on the trailer as well, or for something else. Do you know a NSN?
Thanks
I'd like to figure out a way to mount a spare tire on my M1101. I don't think mounting it on the tongue would be good due to the extra weight on the hitch. That leaves underneath.
It looks like this would be perfect...
Congrats! Just wanted to add that you can change the air filter without removing the top. Just loosen up that clamp and pop the end of the canister off. It would be much easier with the top off, but take a lot more time in the first place. I pulled mine out to clean it but I didn't have a new...
Not sure if it is CB3 or not but there is a CB located behind the outlet. It is barely visible in this picture on the far left side. Circled in Red. It kept tripping when I was trying to run a hairdryer off the outlet. 10 amps seems very low to me.
Before people started picking these up a lot members were saying they were too complicated to work on and that they would stick with the 002. I'm probably not the best person to ask since mine started right up but at least engine wise it appears to be simpler than the 002. I can't speak to the...
I got this part number - Donaldson P148969 out of the Tier 2 Reset TM. But as a warning I haven't tried to cross reference or purchase one yet so proceed with caution.
I can measure for you if you want but they can always turn it around and load it the other way too. For example he was going to fork it into the back of my truck and it would have fit width wise but it would have hit the wheel wells and you couldn't have closed the tailgate. They just dropped it...
Ratch,
Glad you got it running. Did you check the little 10 amp circuit breaker on the back of the board? It is barely visible in this picture on the far left side. Circled in Red.

JBK what are you using for the load test? Do you have something professional or a homemade setup? I have an 802 so I guess I should be looking for something in the 6kw range to give it a workout?
Thanks,
Travis
Can anyone think of a reason the starter lockout switch wouldn't be working when the unit is hot? The switch works fine to start it but if it's been running for 30 minutes or so it won't allow it to restart. If you unplug the switch you can then start it up but you don't have the cutout...
Can't help with the hinge but I pulled one of the bolts out on mine and it was 10-32 by 3/4" long. I ordered a bunch of stainless ones from these guys who are also on ebay.

I haven't put them in...
When do you think you're going to try and crank her over?
I too expected the enclosure to be thicker and have some insulation on the inside. I understand the ASK kits have sound insulation but I've never seen one in person. I will say that the noise level is definitely louder when you open up...
Thanks 10 Lugger that's good info.
I picked up a secondary fuel filter at Napa this morning. It did not come with a new gasket for the bottom around the bolt which is where my biggest leak was. I put a normal o ring on and hoped for the best. Put everything together and it fired right up, no...
