    FMTV High Speed Gears

it was simply a questions Justin. :) what i should have said was "One could do both, right?" my BAE has already had the gear change and t-case change - the idea behind the persons suggestion was to get crawler like settings by using this transfer case. to be honest I am contemplating it...

    FMTV High Speed Gears

Can you do both? Dual T with axle gear change, at the same time. Would that yield higher highway speeds and still allow crawler type gears in t-case? (novice question, from a novice)

    FMTV High Speed Gears

Here was an idea that had been passed onto me by another, seems like it might be the best of both worlds. Although I was told it might be a bit spendy. https://www.marmon-herrington.com/oem/t30.php

    FMTV High Speed Gears

I would have to agree with this sentiment. We have one of those 6x6's from Sealy and those folks were absolutely the best to work with.

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

Me too! MODE & CTIS seem to be the only two things, well - that I know about, that do not seem to be covered. CTIS is briefly covered but not even to the extent your pdf showed. And MODE isn't even mentioned anywhere.

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

Thank you for this. My limited understanding, due to lack of reading material at my disposal, is that each axel (depending on MODE selected) will lock i.e. no limited slip but locked. Although there doesn't seem to be any intra/cross-axel locking (i.e. front/center/rear diff lock). I'm...

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

That's interesting. I just tried both Yahoo & Google and Portland was the first to show up on both. I used PDX as it is a standard destination acronym for city locations. If this is too confusing I can change it on the profile, just let me know. Thanks.

Very good to know - thank you. Do you by chance have something similar on MODE?

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

Thinking you mean to say Portland? If you do mean Poland - I am not. But if you mean Portland, we are in Happy Valley (yes, it's a real place), about 15 minutes from the airport.

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

Based on the diagram I would say yes it seems to be. Thank you so very much for this! Not sure where this info came from, but I'd bet there's a bunch more in it that might also be useful. The vehicle was purchased directly from BAE as many know is in process of shutting it all down. It's a...

    FMTV - Mode & CTIS

Hoping someone can explain these two things for me. I understand what CTIS is, but not what each selection is specialized for. As for understanding MODE, nope, not so much (the more specific the better - please). Your wisdom will not go un-used. Thanking ya'll in advance for any knowledge...
