    Ok, so checked the TM and there was a really good picture of how it goes back together, there is not enough thread to put a locking bolt on the back so I guess I'll use some lock-tite so it doesn't back out!

    Well, still on generator power but I did freehand the rack today, it doesn't seem to be binding and it has worked twice today. They say power should be back by Wednesday, after that I delve into it some more.

    Had to use my MEP 803 after some bad weather in Houston, went to shut down generator to check the oil and make sure everything was good. The generator was running perfectly but it would not restart, I noticed the fuel solenoid in the forward position so I pulled it back and it cranked right up...

    Like Rickf said in post 2, in Texas that's exactly right and it's just as strict for farm trucks, Some people never learn at the stock yards every week somebody gets busted! I don't dare put it in my truck but the 803 doesn't care what color it is! Lol

    Which NOCO Genius Charger for MEP-803A?

    I just replaced two optima batteries on my diesel truck that had a pulsetech unit and they had a 2010 date on them. I also heard that optima isn't what it used to too!
