Was it break-in oil from a reset? Glad it made it through the outage, Hook'em

Ok, so checked the TM and there was a really good picture of how it goes back together, there is not enough thread to put a locking bolt on the back so I guess I'll use some lock-tite so it doesn't back out!

So I got to look at solenoid more closely and I found that the lever is in the wrong position (see pic), this may be putting the solenoid in a bind. When I move it to the correct position the lever binds on the adjustment stops. My question is does the nut that is shown in my picture go between...

They are older so every creature comfort is appreciated. Neighbors are come over to charge phones!

Well, still on generator power but I did freehand the rack today, it doesn't seem to be binding and it has worked twice today. They say power should be back by Wednesday, after that I delve into it some more.

I use Hot Shot's Everyday Diesel treatment in my truck, would that clean up the sticky metering pump?

Had to use my MEP 803 after some bad weather in Houston, went to shut down generator to check the oil and make sure everything was good. The generator was running perfectly but it would not restart, I noticed the fuel solenoid in the forward position so I pulled it back and it cranked right up...

I see it listed but what makes the MEP Generators EMP proof? Also are the batteries protected as well?

When my power goes out I light my house up, don't want any wet stacking going on! Lol I tell my neighbors I'm on a different circuit than them! Gotta have a little fun during an outage!

Like Rickf said in post 2, in Texas that's exactly right and it's just as strict for farm trucks, Some people never learn at the stock yards every week somebody gets busted! I don't dare put it in my truck but the 803 doesn't care what color it is! Lol

I was looking for the am/vm switch for a spare but I don't know if they are good switches, hate to get stuck with one from fleabay for what their asking for them!
