I know when they misrepresented the SEE I bought, they made a new listing of my truck with a buy it now only price, instantly made me the winner, and that's how I got a little bit of a refund. I don't know if all the BIN's are from that or not, but I know mine was.
Mine just has a hose clamp holding it onto the little fitting piece that takes it to a wire (very front passenger side of the external engine compartment), then on an oddly long journey into the air intake. I think I'd just loosen the can and let it bleed out it if will. If not, I think there...
Ehh, he's kind of right there. ^
Anyone willing to measure the dipstick length and oil level yet? I'll mail someone a gob of the ceramic fuses in return!
My goodness, what have I missed here! If the FLU rats weren't bad enough, we got a **** thief on the prowl. That's something I don't take lightly, especially when it comes to Mogs.
Naa, I got the right dipstick to check the oil. Just think I'm getting fuel or hydraulic oil in it. It's way above...
Long time no see folks. I was down with the sickness for a while, still haven't gotten caught up with reading this thread. I'm pretty depressed about my SEE. Anyone able and willing to give me the over all length of their motor oil dip stick, and the distance their full mark reads from the tip...
Alright. Todays lesson...
If you've primed your beast for like 2 dam hours and she still won't run steady, check the fuel tank. Sometimes you'll have to add more in it, it can actually run dry. Even when it looks 25%+ full.
Also, the ether cylinder in my SEE is from these folks. Supposed to be...
Glad to SEE another Okie getting one of these beasts in their possession!
GH, that is disturbingly disgusting. Thought mine was bad! G'luck wither.
FLU Farm; I WAS looking for actual headlights, maybe still am, but you drive a hard bargain about not caring because they don't do much...
Not sure if he was in his right mind, but apparently the same guy who worked on mine. Looks like they blew out in the late 90's. Anyone seen replacements, or maybe just keep them greased up till they actually die?
Ooh, and was it you talking about the LED headlights? Got a part number I can...
Wow, long time no SEE indeed! Glad ya came back. I know that without this thread I would have probably never gotten my SEE, even with this thread I know I'm in way over my head. Thank you, and Mog on my friend.
Yea, for that rubber piece, I'm thinking this silver tape I've got will work just fine. However...I do feel the need for that Fox Mog. It floats?! Man...
Got my poster today, thanks GH!!!
MSMOG, in your post (#1022), the object in question in picture #1 is a little retaining rod for the bracket that is just to the 4:00 of your finger. See the other little rod just like it, but with a pin in it? You'd pull that pin out, swivel the bracket upward to be over the peg you're pointing...
Welcome to the addiction! Jump in with both feet, I like that.
Have fun at the Rally, all who may attend!
I've got to get some new rubber as well, preferably the widest that I can fit while keeping most of my turning radius. I like mud. I do not like riding bulls however, so it's getting...
Bubbles in fuel aren't supposed to happen I believe. I get them as well. I'll replace my fuel lines and see what happens. On your air leak, have you fiddled with the little regulator just forward the rear passenger side tire? I know sometimes it gets stuck on releasing air instead of letting it...
If it was a top off, I'd use the Lucas Hydraulic Booster in it. Beyond that, I'd use standard hydraulic oil. I think it's supposed to have stuff in it to neutralize acidic build up. I thought mine were low, went to dumping in a gallon, and couldn't get all of it in before it was over filled...
HOT dog, finally did something with my Mog! I found this VERY large breasted woman who wanted me to absolutely decimate her old trailer house and get the frame out from underneath it. Turns out, that's my specialty, taking things apart. Couldn't find my screw driver or pry bar, so I used the...
Thanks Skid! I ain't never seen that one. The several other TM's pertaining to the SEE are all too familiar, so it feels good to read something new.
Yea, them wires are being used more and more, as I trace leaks that are apparent when I try to take it out of 2WD. It'll empty a tank @100 PSI in...
HA! They didn't put the OEM secret sauce on those, did they?
Well Skid, I'm betting that's a leak. In your picture, mine leaks right where your thumb knuckle is pointing, at the base of the vertical crap-gob. Hose clamp and a tire patch hold more and more air every day, presumably from more...
