    HMMWV Wheels, custom centers, 37 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires

Yes they are sold -- they came with the truck, I don't know how the previous owner acquired the centers -- it's even possible they came to him on the truck as well.

    HMMWV Wheels, custom centers, 37 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires

I went back to stock, so these will be up for sale. But -- I have no idea what they are worth! So instead of (or before) putting them out there on eBay, your comments (and PM's) are appreciated. The tires look just about brand new. Here are pics.

    rear view mirror question

yeah that's perfect. Ordered. What's 1/4 "National"? 1/4-20? Obviously, whatever the mirror thread size/pitch is. Thank you!

Every little bit helps. I think I get the idea. I was going to mount it above that in the hard top, but I like your way better.

    rear view mirror question

I have the hard top on my M37. Has anyone installed/added a rear view mirror? How did you go about that? I figure there's a spot just above the windshield to mount one. I like the side mirrors ok but I also like to know who's about to hit me. Thanks

    Tires

Thanks for that. Since I live in SoCal (no wet, no ice) and will only be driving short distances, I think they should be ok for me.

Can someone describe what the original tires feel like? What's so bad about them?

    M37 ID information

I did post this over on g741.org, but thought maybe different people see it over here. Looking for any information about my truck. Tried to enter it into the registry and was rejected because "8025809" is not a valid serial number (but that's what it is). Here is a bunch of info, I don't know...

That engine... well, everything.... is amazing!

    M37 air cleaner > color?

I found a decent original air cleaner under the driver seat. It's silver, but the ones I see on eBay are black. What is the correct original color, if there is one?

    Garm's M37

"Frank" always rides in my current project. He seems very much at home in the M37.

    Garm's M37

My truck was stuck in 4WD, with the rear shift lever unable to move forward: I got advice from the Facebook group, jacked up one front wheel and it came unstuck immediately. Driveable now!

    Garm's M37

I did not get the swing out spare carrier with it. I have seen them available, but people say it's awfully inconvenient!
