I guess I am just really, very good at what I do. Every one of my rebuilds still run. Not trying to impress anyone. Never know when and where you might be in a sticky situation.
I have successfully removed a crank shaft out of a 71' Multi-Fuel. It isn't too bad if you are a toll hoarder such as myself. Remove the transmission and all drive plates (obviously). Take cab side engine mount bolts (2) off. Use the engine hoist (I have a 2 ton) and slightly lift the cab side...
Got to take the block to get hot boxed. The metal shavings are everywhere. Also need bearings. Tear down almost complete. Any special tools any one can think of?
It's been a while since i have fooled around on the ole deuce. But here is a video. I have a job at the VA so I can only get to it here and there. So i have started to turn some wrenches on it.

I do not know how to show my threads on here. But this is exactly what is happening to my deuce. Same type. i am currently waiting on pulley oil seal o rings for the center pulley. Gonna flush it and check to see if I need to get another compressor. I ran my deuce on low oil for too long...
Sooooo. I have been doing odd and end maintenance here and there on the deuce. My dipstick is telling my the oil is at the correct level. When I drained it (because of the metal shavings in the oil). So how harmful can that be on the engine? Can I just try and run it for a little bit and drain...
