The last three I have bought have been from private owners. Seems to be many that buy from GL not realizing what they are getting into and just want out ! The ability to test drive the truck before purchase is very valuable.
Your question is difficult to answer if all we know is that they run and drive. There are several 5 ton multifuel models (cargo, wrecker, tractor, etc.) An average running tractor can go for $1,200 and a well preserved wrecker can go for $8,000+.
The truck will be going to my Oregon ranch where it can roam free for its or my remaining days. It will however be required to earn its keep as a maintainance truck. As the designers intended. Looking forward to its arrival !!:jumpin:
If I were to win this truck it would be going to a nice quite ranch in eastern Oregon. (350 miles from Redding) Cost to tow, by a friendly SS member already in the area, minimal.
I'm looking for a couple turbos with associated parts, a tool box, battery box, soft top with frame/bows and a hood. (All for a deuce) Can you give me prices if you have them ? Thanks.
I have searched other similiar theads but still don't understand what is happining with my starter. It will not turn over using the starter switch but if I run cables from the battery directly to the solenoid it will then start by using the starter switch. Is this a relay problem, a solenoid...
Looking for a replacement 465 engine, any version, somewhere near (200 mi.) eastern Oregon. Can be a rebuild a pull out or still attached to a parts truck, open to all options. Thanks
