I was already at that time talking with Jeff Baggett the owner about it. Anyway I finnally got all the details worked out and went over to Birmingham on Sunday and loaded the trailer Monday. The tractor had already showed up in Jacksonville on Saturday. It's good to have friends with the right equipment to help unload. A good friend of mine just three blocks away helped out, so when I get the chance I will sneak down to his place and hook to the trailer and drag back. they both have been sitting for about 9 years. The tractor runs good. But needs some attention. Somebody by passed the fuel filters and ran a fuel line from the tank straight to the pump. That's the easy think to fix. The not so easy thing is the clutch. The flywheel, clutch disc, and pressure plate are all three stuck together. So I'm hoping when I get the fuel problem fixed I'm going to drive it around and maybe by getting some heat in it and a little rough driving it will free up. I'm not looking forward tot he alternative, which is pulling the motor and trans. You have to pull them both as a unit, you can't just drop the trans. by itself in this beast.

P.S.
Messing with this project is what has kept me away from the M125 the past several weeks.

AWESOME!

How do you get those inner wheels off the trailer? Looks like fun.

Hey dirt, if all 3 are stuck together, how will you get it in gear to drive it around????? I got a M37 with the same issue.

does the front of the trailer have some way of guiding the truck's rear winchline(s)?

Here's a larger version of the 30_small pic from the original post that shows the rollers in the front. Not quite as elaborate as the newer versions but I'm sure it does the job.

That isn't the correct trailer for the M123, is it? I thought that trailer was correct for the M26 Pacific and Dragon Wagon??? I may be wrong....

Great buy! You've definitely got big trucks big aspirations, big dream, and definitely at least a couple big nuts. Maybe some big bolts too. Just takes a man's man to purchase as many huge trucks as you have. :-D

Mike, initally that was the trailer that was used since the first M123s came out in the 50s when this trailer was still current issue. The M747 was really designed for the short-lived tractor fielded in the 70s. I can't remember the model of the tractor. The M123 was also used with the 25 ton lowboy trailer.
