I have a guy up in Ohio who can pick up that rearend if it's the correct cucv D70 rear end.

I scored a Dana 70HD here in NM, 88081, Thanks to Bgekky3, aka: Nick, for the tip. I would also like to thank Gimpy for picking up another dually rear that turned out to be a 14 bolt GM. Everyone on this site is awesome!!!

I don't understand the question? The rearend that gimpy recovered for me in Ohio was not a dana 70, it was a GM 14 bolt rear.

Ok, Earlier in the thread there was a alleged D70 hd available in cincy, gimpy picked it up for me, it was not a D70, it was in fact a gm 14 bolt. A local NM craigslist ad had a true dana 70 hd dually rear, which I also purchased. So I have a 14bolt gm dually rear in ohio, and a d70 hd with the aforementioned specs.

I have never seen a 14 bolt under a one ton with dual wheels and a pickup box from GM.
As far as I know they were in cab & chasiss and one ton single wheel pickups.

Yeah Gimp, if you don't mind. Tom, the 14 bolt was only used in dually pickups after the 88/91 body change.
