I think that plate is more directed at payload capacities. A deuce on dualled 11:00's has so much more tire than the frame, axles, brakes, etc are good for that it wasn't even worth it to mark the dataplate with those capabilities. Can I run 11.00 20s as dually on my deuce on the plate on my truck it says to run singles
Which trucks had dual 11.00x20's stock?Yes, running 11.00x20's dualed is fine and was even stock on some trucks.
I don't think any were.Which trucks had dual 11.00x20's stock?
My neighbors M109a3, straight from the GL yard in Fort Benning sitting on dualled 11.00 Michelin XL's. The only picture I have of it. While it may have not been a prevalent configuration, it was done on some trucks.I don't think any were.
Modified from some unit, not from the factory. My neighbors M109a3, straight from the GL yard in Fort Benning sitting on dualled 11.00 Michelin XL's. The only picture I have of it. While it may have not been a prevalent configuration, it was done on some trucks.
If I remember right some units in the first Gulf war did this when they where sent to Afgan . My nephew was a Marine then and mentioned it. They had to deal with a lot of large sharp rocks.Modified from some unit, not from the factory.
Right, but, stock is from the factory. Anyone confirm duals? I doubt it.If I remember right some units in the first Gulf war did this when they where sent to Afgan . My nephew was a Marine then and mentioned it. They had to deal with a lot of large sharp rocks.
Now don't take this as Gospel though as I only heard this second hand and cannot confirm it myself.
