Go to vintage power wagons.com All info is on the web site. The axles can have different ring gear diameters depending on year. The ratio is 5.38. They are made by Dodge.
A 3/4 ton built in 1942 would have the early halfton style axles with 8 3/4 ring gear versus later 9 5/8.
They was a middle converted axle with the cover welded on that has a tag welded to the axle tube telling you how many gaskets to use.
I like the later 9 5/8 axles although the earlier 1/2 ton style can run the factory 4:89 ratio for a better road speed. You can also adapt the rezeppa front joints which are stronger than the later bendix type.
