I'm with Jakob above. Try the WD 40, Marvel Mystery Oil and whatever in the cylinders and see if it will free up. I have done this to many old locked up vehicles in the past.
I once did this with on old MG Midget I bought from a guy for $100.00 as it was locked up and stuck in 1st gear. He was shocked when I drove it off his lot 3 days later and offered me a job as a Mechanic. I drove that car for 3 years before I sold it and never did rebuild the engine.
If the lube works and you can get it to move, just turn it a little bit each way and keep going back and forth a bit at a time until you can go all the way around. Spin it over a few times by hand. You may just get lucky and it does not cost a whole lot to give it a try.

yes I have tried the other why lol it does thread out going the other way but i swear to god the bolt keeps turning when i go to tighten it anyway ill figure it out thanks for your help

I was looking into a ’54 M109 but didn’t bid because of freight costs from MD to CO; an M109 is 11’ tall. I did find out a bit about those old power trains, though. This is 2nd hand, so guys who speak 1st hand might want to correct me.

The truck I was looking at had an automatic xmission that was troublesome in its day. There was a late model kit added that kept it from shifting up and down and up and down when you were running right at the top of one gear range.

Memphis Equipment Co is a good place to check for major parts such as transmissions. They had a complete transmission to sell me at a pretty decent price (considering). They also had the shift kit. The guy seemed quite honest and straight forward. I still regret that I couldn’t bid on that truck.

I love the looks of those M211s and M215s. They are the 2nd ugliest trucks ever built!

If it has a automatic trans, wouldent it be easier just to pun in a old 12 valve cummins with a 727 auto trans? Is the transfercase not bolted to the trans?
