Yeah but I wonder what the other vehicle looks like lol! These guys on Truckpaper are always asking 2x what it's worth. I'd offer 5-6k for this truck especially considering the low-boy shipping is probably the same amount. It's basically a frame and drive train anyway.

Today on Facebook Kevin Boyle posted some photos of an M123A1C owned by the Upton Massachusetts Division of Forestry many years ago. It turns out this is my truck, the external cage and the matching door insignia we found while prepping for paint are unmistakable. I never knew my truck was outfitted this way, I just figured it was used by the Forestry Division to haul their Caterpillars around. It's always a good day when you can learn some history about your truck.
