I have a 1997 M116A3 1 Ton Trailer that I'm thinking about selling,

It has brand new TOYO 35" AT on brand new XD RIMs
I also replaced the rear lights with new ones and added led side marker lights.
I also added rear stabilizer and changed out the front hitch to a 2"
Its wired for 12 volt.

So my question is how much should I be asking for it.
Thanks

IMHO $1800-2000 is high.

I'd put the stock steel wheels and tires back on it to ease the sale.

I'm surprised no one mentioned it, but that trailer is actually an M101A3 on an M116A3 frame. You'll have better luck selling identified as an M101A3.
I've seen them listed for $1500, never saw one actually sell for more than $1000 (but plenty could have).
I'd also suggest putting factory wheels back on. It will be tough to ask more than $1300, and wheels are not likely to increase buyers value.

IMO the cut up hitch and missing surge brake bring the price down. The wheels probably add value, but narrow the pool of buyers. I'd say roughly $500-$600 without the wheels. I found a stock M101A3 for sale right now in CA for $750.

The data plate on the front of the box will say M101Ax, the plate on the drawbar will say M116A3. With that box, it's identified by the military as an M101 cargo trailer, without the box, it's a 116, normally used as a generator trailer. I currently have an m116A3 flatbed that was some kind of weapons system, 2 I've had before were just frames and were radar trailers, and 2 I have now were generator trailers. They're all M116's until the box is on, then it becomes an M101.
