Do a google search for "soft door hmmwv striker" and one for "hard door hmmwv striker" to see the difference. Like I said, one is like a heavy duty coat hanger bent into a certain shape, and the other is a legit bar striker.

I heard some of the m1123's have China blocks? Not American made parts? Apparently there are stamps I need to verify? Does anyone know where they are and what I need to look for?

Is your motor painted black?
The number you want is on the rear of the right side , just below the head. Access it through the doghouse inside the cab.

I am planning on using T6 Rotella too. I use it on everything. I have not changed to it yet. So I am excited to see how well it works for you!
