Here is the data GSA provided in case there are any other helpful clues in it:

This one appears to have some issues. Will need to verify it is an M45A2.
First separating the reg# from the serial (VIN) number I have a reg# of 04050970. A search on this is a blank however there is a 04H59#70 series from 0 to 9 where the # sign is.
Looking at the SN 05341005# is the start of a series for a set of M109A3 shop vans. The # ranges from 0 to 9 but you specific number '2' is missing from the series.
It leads me to wonder if your truck may have started life as a 109 shop van and got bastardized before or after leaving service.
Verifying the frame number would be a start.
** UPDATE **
I got this truck home yesterday and I see that GSA typo'd the numbers.
The actual ID # listed on the data plate is: "
04G-50970-0534-10052"
For the 3rd character they had a zero instead of a G. In their defense I can see how they made the mistake with the way it is stamped. I have not been able to verify the frame number but these exact same numbers are stenciled on the passenger door.
So here is the revised data:
This is for a 1967 Kaiser M45A2 W/W
a. Serial Number (VIN number): 053410052
b. Registration Number: 04G50970
c. NSN without dashes: ?
d. Where you bought it: Through GSA @ Oklahoma Forestry Services
e. Bumper numbers: None visible
Thanks!
