2011 Ga Rally t-shirt poll/order thread

I talked to Wreckerman about getting T-shirts for Security team. He said he could, but needs to know how many and what sizes. I know right now that myself and Carnac will volunteer to be Security, and we will be there Wednesday to set up a table at the entrance to log in trucks and people as they come in so we will have a good count of how many attend this year. Any other volunteers for Security team?

I sent a PM to wreckerman. I want to be on the security team. I am arriving on Wed and staying through Sunday. I would be willing to help with the gate or anywhere needed.

The question is, when walking down the street and someone comes up and asks, "What is SS?" while looking at your T, you explain it with pride and enthusiam.

When someone asks, "What is the possum?", then you go into something that cannot be rationally explained, and it takes away from SS and all our effort to praise the MV world in the most positive manner. The possum is cute. It is Wreckerman. it will be his legacy and a good one and original. I commend him for it. He is a fantastic guy and a super credit to the MV community. But it is an individual thing, not a community thing. I hope this hurts no ones feelings nor incites the community in any way. I'm just thinking of a more global outlook then that of any one single individual.

Just my opinion...

The same could be said if there was a 5 ton vs a Duece or a GT. You can please most of the people, most of the time, some of the people, some of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.

I'd like to see the proof, although I won't attend...to far to commute.

In the final product there will be more separation between the truck and the possum.

Hmm, I'll withhold final judgement until the proof comes in but it looks like I'll be withdrawing my order.

The possom might look okay on a sleeve but it kinda looks out of place on the front. Or have the truck and event name on the rear and a small possom on the pocket area of the front of the shirt.

If someone with more graphic skill than I have will send me some ideas I'll adjust fire.

They charge for each graphic they put on.

Nothing has been set in concrete yet.

They will work in batches of 50.....I can leave Elmo off some of them.

Why did you go with a 900 series vs something more pronouced in the community? I'm just asking not stiring the pot.

IMO and it's just an Opinion.

It would be good to see a single back logo/front badge, that was common to all shirts. Than those who prefered the Elmo brand could wear that on the left sleeve. As I assume the right sleeve will bear our nations pride.

I just pulled that truck off the clip art page....I was thinking a deuce, Gama Goat and M151.

Again.....I am open to suggestions sent to me in a format that I can take to the vendor.

Is it a colored image or monochromatic?
