2011 Waco Military Experience Troy Ohio

The 2011 WACO Military Experience will be held in Troy Ohio on July 8, 9 & 10th at The Waco Air Museum. The show is still in the planning stage but this will be our third year and it should be a very good time. We are expecting quite a few more vehicles ( Several Dodges) and vendors this year since there will be no conflict with the MVPA National Convention being held on the same weekend like last year, in fact this show should be a very good preview to the 2011 MVPA National which will be held about 30 miles south in Dayton 3 ½ weeks after the Troy show. We are trying to locate some secure, indoor storage for owners who would like to “pre-position” their vehicles in the area between the 2 shows.
We have a new person, who is a re-enactor himself, working on that aspect of the show and it looks like we will have more re-enactors participate this year. The beautiful Sherman M4A3E8 from the Allen County Historical Society in Lima Ohio will be back this year
There will several vintage aircraft offering rides for a modest fee.

Please come and help us make this show as big of a success as the Findlay show.

The WACO show is less than 2 weeks away, anybody coming?

Anyone wanting to leave their vehicle(s) ii the area till the MVPA convention, we have outdoor storage arrangements less than10 miles from the convention.

The number of vehicles coming is looking good, same with vendors and reenactors. Vehicles include a M4A3E8 Sherman tank and an LVT4 that was used in filming the movie FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS. Neat stuff! Next weekend in Troy Ohio!
