Death wobble is still an issue... I've done a whole lot to get one bolt off the tie rod from the steering stabilizer piston... Its getting to be sawzall time after the sledge hammer wont knock it out, half a can of PB blaster, and enough heat put into it to set the rubber bushing on fire twice. I have little clue what the heck I'm doing for the rest of the king pin rebuild. Even if I get the death wobble sorted out... I still have to figure out whats up with the transmission, fix the massive oil leak, and fix the Gen 2 alt (which I think I figured out what the problem is)... So M1008 wont be going to haspin in spring, more than likely not in fall either... the little tiny arctic cat should be going though, just need to tweak the carb jetting and idle adjustment. (It HATES temperature swings). I've learned a lot with the M1008 so far and I'm sure I will learn a whole lot more for whenever I get around to buying another one... Like what to look for and pre-purchase inspection (that was my bad) but I rolled the dice anyways. Not saying its a regret but I'll be wiser in the future. I'd like to get a M934 some day and turn it into a bit of a camper as I plan on purchasing some land in the relatively near future just need to get a CDL too..
