I just spent a great day doing some last minute work on the truck. After loading the truck tomorrow, we'll be ready to roll.

Anjay22, are you still up for a convoy? Anybody else? Here is my plan:

1615 - Leave Montgomery (Exxon station at Hwy 105 and Walden Road)
1700 - Arrive in Navasota (Shell station northeast corner of Hwy 105 and Hwy 6 intersection)
1715 - Depart Navasota
1800 - Arrive at the Brazos Valley Off-road Ranch

Leaving downtown Houston now. If we come through Navasota at the right time, we will stop. Otherwise see you there!

I'm heading down from Fort Worth in my bobbed deuce and m105 trailer. I'll be heading down around 10:30-11am. Anyone else heading south out of Fort Worth. It'd be nice to get in a convoy, since this is my first long trip in the deuce. I don't foresee any issues, just want to be on the safe side..

Just be ready for the highway after Waco, don't remember the name. It's a hilly mother! Me and my wife averaged about 25 mph according to my gps last year in my deuce pulling the m105. Mine wasn't a bobber though. Have fun. I don't have another trip like that in a mv anytime soon.

Plan for Saturday- sheriff's escort shows up about 8:15am, leave for Mullins about 8:30. At Mullins for open house at least until reenactment starts(1:30?). Then back to ranch to play on trails. Hopefully the rain holds off until we can play (the trails get muddy fast, and park rules say no mudding) and stays light enough to have the bonfire.

What is there out at the camp grounds? Are there bathrooms? This will be my first excursion of this type, is there anything that I should remember to bring? I wanna be prepared, so it turns out to be a great weekend.

Yep, bathrooms in the old store building. Harvested rainwater so not drinkable, though. Pretty relaxed, if you forget it someone else probably has one you can borrow!

We made it home safely after an awesome weekend! Managed to get home and unloaded right before the rain hit.

Lincoln, thank you for organizing a great event!

It was nice to meet everyone, and I enjoyed the company! You couldn't ask for a better group of folks to spend a weekend with!!! Not to mention the awesome line-up of trucks...

Tim - Thanks again for listening to my truck and diagnosing the compressor issue!
