I was going over the website for the off road ranch. It talked of a deposit as well as the $10 daily fee. I would love to attend but I cannot afford the trip the daily $10 dollars plus food and incidentals as well as a large deposit. Is this something I need to worry about or do I just need to pay the $10 daily fee for the camping? Thanks for help clearing this up.

nofeanohope will have to chime-in with the specifics. However, last year we only paid one small fee per family that covered camping for the entire weekend.

Any of the San Angelo and north of Austin area members up for a caravan?

Also is anyone driving a wrecker there? Could use some help moving the shelter on my bed (have to move it backwards, cut into the bed, then move it forward again).

I have an M936A2. My yard is 2 miles from the ranch so if anyone needs something major moved we can plan it to all be moved at one time or just come over to my yard and do it there as time permits.

Looking forward to the weekend, weather is sketchy from what I've seen, may bring extra cover for the CUCV camper and dry SOCKS!!..... I'm probably rolling in Friday evening. Anybody else heading up from N. Houston area?

Is there camping at the off road park on Friday night? I am trying to determine if I am going to go Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. I plan to be at the museum sat. morning then go to the off road park around 2 or 3.

Not sure if I have a place to camp Friday if I come then.

Thanks,
Rich

In the years past we've gotten into the area on Friday night, but I'll wait for "dear leader" to confirm...... thank you "dear leader"!!

I am looking for a single, (1) stock M1009 rim. ANYBODY have one to sell at a reasonable price to a decent SOB?
Also need two (2) tailgate lanyards? wire pieces that hold up tailgate...... need both sides,...... and yes it's a FUNNY story!!

We have access to the off road park starting between 5 and 6 pm Friday. The charge is $10/night/family. We will convoy from the off road park Sat morning to the museum. We will stay at the museum until around 2 pm, when we will convoy back to the off road park. There is plenty of parking and camping spots at the off road park and the gates will be locked while we are at the museum. If I missed any questions, please let me know.
