2017 MVPA Route 66 Convoy is on the move

That sucks that they limit it. I'd like to do that run but its so far out and so much could happen between now and then for me to commit. I wonder what they would do if you followed anyways.

Or if we set up a mini convoy a few miles behind them? Do we need permits? And do we need to drive 35MPH, jeeps!

I plan on joining the MVPA convoy at Williams, AZ and going to Santa Monica, CA in my M151A1. If that jeep isn't ready, then I'll be driving my M35A2.

I was able to sign up for the first two segments (Chicago to El Reno, Ok). Taking the CUCV II and the M101A2, sounds to be an interesting time!

UPDATE. The KAMO rally this year is the first full weekend in Oct 6th thru 8th, the MVPA convoy goes thru and spends the night in Miami OK on the 24 from the evening of the 21st till AM on the 24th they will be in Branson Mo. So looks like there will not be an overlap

Well they are on the road and some of us were going to go down to SW Mo & NE Ok to be along the road as they go by and then meet up with them at lunch stops and evening stops, those are listed on line but the actual route map is not. Any body know what it is??
