Pulled out the box-o-tents earlier and to my great surprise some little ******* critter got in there. Chewed a hole through the plywood box and made my canvas outfitter tent and my good ground tent into Swiss cheese! The more of them I pulled out the madder I got. A better question is how did it get in my offshore container. So falling back on plan b. I took the water hose to the Deuce’s bed cover......and yep it leaked, and more than just a little. Being throughly disgusted now (putting it very mildly) and with more than a few sprinkles in the forecast. I’m just gonna be the panzy of the group and get urban lodging for a couple of nights.
Sorry for for the rant but there was several thousand dollars in that box!

On a happier note. Me and TAZZJR will be heading out together sometime Friday. Has a hard time been decided when the gate will open to the campground?

OK FOLKS... IT'S ALMOST RALLY TIME!!!

It should be noted that this is the 10th annual spring time TX MV Rally!

I can't wait to see everyone there. As always, I look forward to seeing old friends, meeting new ones and checking out the awesome MV's!

I'll be rolling in late Friday with the M1078. It will be her maiden voyage and break-in run so I've been prepping all week for the "just-in-cases". I do hope the rain keeps at bay for the weekend but at least it will be cool outside. Maybe we can play in the mud a little at BVORR. :driver:

Tim I’m trying to get my hands on a large ez up awning so we will have a dry area outside the cargo covers. I think I can get a 10’x20’.
A buddy of mine has one that size. It’s slip together poles not an actual ez-up. I’m pretty sure I can get, If the others fall through let me know.

Last year, gates at the Brazos Valley OffRoad Ranch opened at 17:00. I suspect it will be the same time this year (17:00 on Friday, March 22), but I'll touch bases with Lincoln tomorrow and confirm.

Ok I’ll find out about ez up in the am and let you know nitro, will let you slide on the hotel room but you still have to drive a MV! Ask Lincoln to be sure but there is a large camphouse with lots of room and showers, I bet you could camp in there.

The weather forecast has pushed back the rain from Fri, and dropped the chances from 90% to 60% on Sat, but you know how accurate that is. I'll load some firewood in the M101 trailer hoping we'll have a dry fire at least on Fri.

Getting really antsy to hit the road!

Well guys I’m going to have to bail (no pun intended for the rain forecast). I woke up Sunday morning feeling great and by 1600 I was hacking up a lung. It’s only gotten worse the last 2 days. Just consider this my favor to ya’ll in not bringing this crud over to share.

Going to miss visiting with you Mark. I can’t make the meeting tomorrow night at Mabry either.

I put the hard hard top on the M715 today and put in the cargo bows. I will leave the cover off until I get there. Driving with the cover on is like adding a barn door or three and really slows me down. When Warp speed is 52, I can’t slow down too much as it is.

I also decided to sleep in the bed and forget the tent idea. High and dry is the goal.

I went to load up my firewood to find that termites and rot had eaten it all up. Hope someone else can bring some.
