I loaded my IBEK tow bar in the M1009 a little while ago. No fuel leakage today either.

I was looking forward to seeing those of you that won’t make it. Rory, travel smart.

Brazos county is under a burn ban at the moment, so no open fires. Charcoal grills and propane grills are fine...
Sadly there is no requirement for the flame throwers....
I have a water hose out to the site, semi non-potable until we run some clorox or disinfectant through it.
I expanded the area to accommodate everyone, so tell your friends they are welcome, with or without a mv.

Work threw a curve ball at me. I have to work today and tomorrow morning. I’ll join everyone at the camp site tomorrow afternoon.

Well, I was actually planning to bring the RV and camp this year however one of my dogs apparently suffered a back injury yesterday, I was at the vet with her until midnight. Since she now needs some care and regular meds I think I’m back to Saturday only.

If you missed the TX steel soldiers rally this year you should kick yourself. During Saturday night storytime we learned one of our members used to kayak across a big pond/small lake to high school and another has "night sweats" if he thinks he has to fly economy.
We had a great time and more than enough room for activities. Put it on your calendar for next year. We may begin a new tradition...more to come..

Sounds like it was a riot! Did a rough mileage calculation and it came up to ~1,270, translating to 30-40hrs of road time, so unless I come across a steal on an F-18, or someone has a Chinook and wanton disregard for fuel money to airlift the ol girl down, we'll be watching from here wishing it was warm .
