20K winch weight

I pulled the winch with bumper and frame extensions off of my M932A2 parts truck last weekend. Man that thing has some weight. I'm curious if anyone knows what it weighs? We used a F350 Ford wrecker boom to pull it. It did the job well but we could tell there was some serious weight to it, and you definitely don't want to drop it. Here's a couple of pics, sorry I didn't think to take any while it was hanging from the wrecker.

Look in the TM's for the difference between a M931A2 and a M932A2 .

That works out to 1100 lbs. I find that hard to believe, seems a little light.

I too am having a winch shipped to me, asked several vendors about weight on ALL components in one pallet, and got an avg weight of 1200. Err on the side of safety and told shipper 1400 because of extra goodies on the pallets.

1000 is about right, my small tractor scoop is rated at 1000 and it barely picked up my winch.

Did the same, a 1000-1200 is about right (my Bobcat is rated for 1200)
