That's right. The center is positive when wired correctly.I need to look up the polarity. I’m sure it’s on here somewhere. That would def be a catastrophe if I crossed them.
looks like this is the idea based off what I am seeing:
In a NATO plug, the center hole is positive while the surrounding part is negative.

I cut the alligator clamps off the charger and add a small Anderson connector to the charger in their place. Then add an Anderson connector to the cable with your NATO plug. (Or just hardwire it)

Yes, search 30 amp Anderson connectors, or SAE connectors for cheaper, smaller gauge options.
In front of the passenger seat....well, I think I screwed up... lol I go the plugs, I think they will work (will look later) but I also got the Nato plug. It is as we discussed... pole in the middle and so on. But my smart plug behind the passenger seat is different... it has two holes side by side... Did I get the wrong thing, or do I need to change something... Apparently I didn't do enough research... looking into it now.

The center is positive and the outside is ground. Cables bolt to the inside. I ended up putting the batteries in the bed on mine and just running a slave cable to the slave port. That lets me just plug in to start gensets and my wrecker.I picked up a Graywacke Nato (mini) cable, Anderson connector, and a NOCO Genius Pro 50+. I also bought 2 yellow top D34 optima batteries, and I ordered a Custom optima battery box (hold down) from Ballistic Fab to hold them in. I have a project coming up to clean up the battery box area a bit. My Humvee is custom, so I am looking to bring the Battey area up to speed a bit more. Thanks for everyones help on this part... I think, I hope... I have everything I need to get it started... will prob dive in this weekend or soon (well assuming I get the battery box this week... if not the following weekend)
