It does have the truck and or series in with the description. If it does not say 809 or 939 then it is for all . If it is for A2 only it will be in the A2 section at the bottom. If it is for the 809 is says 809 and 939 is 939A1 or whatever. If it is A0/1 specific then it will say so. The only difference in the A2 and A0/1 stuff is in relation to the engine mostly everything else is the same.Could I make a suggestion for the spreadsheet? Perhaps adding columns at the beginning of equipment applicability.
I use dextron 3 and i put the most miles on my truck consistentlyGood morning everyone. I have a 1984 M923 with the 5 speed allison. It has the 15/40 oil in it now. I want to change it over to the proper allison approved oil. I think it a dextron 4 or 6. Can anyone tell me what the best allison recomended fluid is. I am getting mixed advice. I know why the military used regular oil. But i also know that shortens the tranny life. Any help would be great. Thanks
