I was at the scrap yard today and someone brought a deuce over the
scales It set off the radioactive alarm they where all freaking out
about it. I should have told him that the hole truck was radioactive
and offered him $200 bucks for it.
I told them it was just only the instrument cluster.
I asked for a flat head screw driver and took it off for them
They where not trying to get anywhere close to it.
So they gave me the gauges for free.
The guy says he has more trucks like that I gave him my
number. So we will see what he has.
I told him I was more interested in the M/F diesel ones.
I really dont have much money to be spending right now.
Its sad to see them scraped .
I will find out what type of military trucks he has
and how many. He is selling them for scrap price.
So he is probably getting $9-$12 per 100 pounds.
