Cool, I like how you can't even see the 60-ton civi wrecker pushing you from behind.

Good pic though.

This is not my first deuce..... If you all remember 2007 East Cost Convoy and me passing the convoy at over 70 MPH in my deuce towing a M1008.
If your engine is "tuned" there will be no problem turning 2700 RPM all day long. My last LDT with a LDS pump I would turn 2900 RPM. And doing so for over 800 miles non stop (well one fuel stop but never shut the truck off)

It was a "trucks use left lane" zone.

i got mine to 65 once. i drove off the rim of a valley at 52 and put it neutral and got to 65 by the bottom. :driver: it was between Shreveport and Alexandria Louisiana. i bet if we dropped one from the space shuttle we could get 85 to 90 at least. oops, to late no more shuttles. that does sound like a "hold my beer and watch this" moment

Maybe you can find a Newbie to race...

How fast can you stop?

What was the speed limit?

What's your fuel?

Look out for that Church bus full of virgin nuns...

Funny you should mention this - I saw a mile long streak of mystery fluid on the freeway this morning, and people were driving through it! By the smell, it was Diesel fuel and not engine oil. I never did find the truck it came from.

Moral of the day - do not streak on LA freeways! :)
