when first drove the 250 cummins in the 816 i was sure about it especially after driving a m35 for many years but once you appreciate that its the gear spacing that is the problem and when towing if you accelerate up thro low transfer to 5th and then back to 4th high and 5th high it will pull well between gears and vice versa when changing down. the 14 litre motor is a beast compared to the multifuel altho my m35 is music to the ears..thanks martin. will post more pics soon
