M1097R1 Accessory Wiring Questions. Im adding a few LED lights (24V) and a 2 way radio (12V - 25W) to my truck. Ive added a 14V charge wire from my 200Amp alt/reg back to my rear battery.
My questions are ....
Where is the best place to pull 12V (I thnk about 3amps) for the radio?
Where is the best place to pull 12V (25 watt for the radio?
Where is the best place to pull 24V for the lights
Where is the best place to ground.
I was planning on pulling these from the battery compartment unless its a bad idea.
TIA

Directly from the battery for power and ground is best, do not forget to fuse any lead you add.
Thank you!
Ive read that is "pretty safe" to pull low amp 12V from the rear battery + side. Should I pull the 24V from the front battery + or from the buss bar on the bulkhead?

The Odyssey battery I bought had a separate terminal and bolt meant for taping power. I put a red vinyl terminal cover over both + terminals so the extra terminal did not short accidentally. The big red covers the covers the whole terminal did not cover this extra battery terminal.
