Advice on M929 Dump Truck

The area we are working has some unusual soils for sure. “Bog” is a good way to describe things. Here is a pic from a telehandler that got stuck. The machine weighs about 14k lbs and we had driven over this spot several times prior to getting stuck. In this case, the added weight of some concrete forms were enough to sink the machine.

The dump truck was a similar situation. It backed up over the area where it got stuck without any problem. The only difference was we added a few thousand pounds of dirt and the truck sank. A little bit of water and some added weight sure can make a big difference in how firm the ground is.
