I have hit a search wall.
I am replacing the seals and bearings on the O2 trailer I recently recovered.

Have found all the parts:
Bearings/Races, new nut, caps, etc
EXCEPT the grease seal!!

This generic wheel is used on everything from hydraulic test stand to air compressors to warehouse carts to O2 trailers, etc. including the NF-2D light tower I own.
I could pull off a wheel to see if there’s a p/n on it but will do that as an absolute last resort.

I’ve got the parts breakdown and p/n list from a TM
Problem is the number for the seal doesn’t cross reference to anything, other than a different manufacturers part number using the same NSN.

I’ve tried National seal, SKF, Timken, NAPA nd so on.
No luck.
The numbers on the seal itself also don’t cross reference to anything.
I’ve searched the threads with no luck.

What seal are you guys using on this wheel??!

NSN: 5330-00-576-4465
Part # 6081 or 1220A
These two company's supplied the part to the government.

75165JOHNS MANVILLE INTL 717 17TH ST DENVERCO80202-3330UNITED STATES
92798THERMAL CERAMICS INC. 2730 INDUSTRIAL PKWY ELKHARTIN46516-5401UNITED STATES

The following NSN's are also good NSN's for the parts, even if they are considered "Cancled".
5330-00-427-6585
5330-00-576-8787
5330-00-691-0637
5330-00-828-9036
5330-00-870-4928
5330-00-906-1706

Look the company's up in the net, and call. Try ALL the NSN's in your search engine.

Thank you

I already found that info
Plus those companies were zero help.
I also tried Croft and eTrailer, Dexter and Redneck.
Nothing.
I did not mention it was off a military/government trailer. Just gave part numbers.
The NSN basically circled me back around to what I already had.

I was hoping to at least find dimensions but can’t find that to reference off of.

Don’t trust local parts stores measuring.

The local seal/bearing place is wholesale only and won’t even talk to walk-ins.

I cannot believe that as numerous as these wheels are, seal info is elusive at best.
