Sadly no. The official way to fix that is to replace the rods.
Some people have used various methods to "fix" them.
If I were going to do it, I would burn out what's in them, and use pour-able urethane. Smooth-on makes a whole range of products:

Something with a Shore A of 60 to 90 depending on what they have in them now. Just have to get creative with cardboard, Popsicle sticks, and glue to keep the stuff in place till it cures. Not rocket science just messy. Might need to rig up a vacuum chamber to de-gass the solution if you want uniform results. Really not that complicated all things considered.
