Alternator bracket issues

For some reason my alternator bracket is sitting cock eyed aswell as the powersteering there’s a large gap between the back of the bracket and support for the bracket at the bottom aswell wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction as to if I’m missing a spacer or if something’s just not correct.

Pictures would help. There is a bolt that goes into the side of the block between the power steering pump and the motor mount. They have a tendency to work loose and fall off. Without pictures that is my only suggestion.
