I got her to fire up and runs nice. Good oil pressure and doesn't skip a beat. I have air leaks to tend to, bad tire, check all other fluids, and replace the gear selector from being baked in the sun for 25 years. She may just crawl out of her grave like a champ.

She did just that today. I replaced the transmission push button selector, pushed fluids as needed, and let her warm up slowly. The transmission needed more fluid in the last video so it was a little sluggish. Both rear left tires fragmented on the idle across the motor pool to no ones surprise. 28 years old.. they've served their time.

Overall she sounds healthy and throttle is responsive. All gauges are in operational ranges and CTIS tried to work. It sounds very much like the M35A3 CTIS. There's still a lot to do on her and air leaks to track down. It's just a game of time and patience until she's able to get on the road again if even for a short run.

Yes it was. Nice system. It even displays tire pressure when doing the self check.



Bad tires replaced. The other 4 will follow when I have time and it stops raining. The wheel CTIS parts look like M35A3 with some cobbled together bits. Nothing is streamlined, clearly off the shelf concoction. You can't take the rim off the hub without taking several 90 degree elbows off and of course they're in poorly accessible locations.

At least with the M35A3 the air comes through a hollow wheel stud, so there's only one air connection to disconnect to remove a wheel.

That CTIS computer is a little different from the M35A3 one too. Your prototype has load settings on it, that's the most noticeable thing. The A3 also shows tire pressure, which is really system pressure since the sensor is at the power manifold.
