i had our first committee meeting today making plans for our local 4th celebration in hammond la.. looking for some members to put on display trucks for the celebration and flag day event. if interested shout back my way and lets make this a great time to celebrate with the veterans being the show cast of our work. we are taking up collections from local businesses and after the event is clear of money spent the remaining funds will go to wounded warrier project and another similar local fund

You are a true Patriot Tim and thanks for posting.

I just wish folks would call it what it is...Independence Day instead of 4th of July.

... and on behalf of all us from the old country from which y'all got independence, (who love this one by the way & that we now call home), can I wish you all what We call it.....

Happy Good Riddens Day! :-D

Before I get blasted - I will be flying "your" flag on the house (my wife and son - both USA'ians, seem a little slow in this dept) AND I will be parading my truck locally, in full adherence with the flag code and chauffeuring a vet.
