But I digress, we are taking over this thread.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
But I digress, we are taking over this thread.
Great story, McDuff (sorry to digress here, The King Machine, but you're a champ for being patient with us chatter boxes "on the porch", here)! My colleague was studying Thin Horn sheep, and he had both a tranquilizer gun and a "combination gun" (double barrel rifle over shotgun) in the truck, although we never took it on trips, too heavy. Our problem was black bears messing up our camp looking for food (including chewing on tins with beans).
Not a gunman, so I had to look it up again, but his was a combination gun with two barrels, shotgun over riffle (I think). You are talking about a drilling gun with three barrels; two shotgun barrels next to each other and a riffle barrel in the middle underneath it.That combination is called a Drilling isn't it? And it's actually the other way around, two shotgun barrels side-by-side over a rifle barrel.
ColdWarrior taught me this lesson:Not a gunman, so I had to look it up again, but his was a combination gun with two barrels, shotgun over riffle (I think). An American Deuce*But if I remember right, this thread:
- is about a Deuce
- in Canada,
Isn't it?!
Looks like some great country up there...........now if there just wasn't any bears.
Was this what you were looking for?I can't figure how to enlarge it, but if you can magnify it (and read it to the end), you might get a chuckle:
