I'm trying to get some Motorola 6gang radio charges from GSA surplus for my Fire Dept. 10ea are located at TSA at Anchorage airport. They say have to pickup/will not pack/ship. Typical TSA service.

Anyone in the area that might be willing to pickup and box (I will not promise no TSA strip search)? Or know of an economical service in the area?

What is cost effective way to ship from AK to lower 48 (if there is such a thing). UPS ground is actually possible?

Can't help with pick up or packing, but USPS priority mail flat rate box is the way to go. If it will fit in a box 14X9X6", it's $14 and change to any place the PO delivers.

might be able to find the charges on Egay and use UPS Ground for probably next to nothing.
I live up here and sometimes spend more for shipping from the lower 48 for the products purchase price.

When do they need to be picked up? I'll be headed down to Anc sometime in late September, or early October. Shoot me a PM if that might work for you.

Try Rosie's Delivery, my office utilizes their services for all kinds of deliveries that are business related with the Military. So they've usually already got their clearances.
