Antenna Mount Holes

I have four ex-antenna mounts on my M1008 bed, does anyone know what size/thread count fits in the bolt holes? Also, the brown color exposed by the antenna mount removal, was this ever a standard color of the trucks, or is just rusty undercoating?

they should be standard size.......i can check mine tomrrow....do uhave any manuals?....they should list the size of the bolt....

5/16 BOLTS! If you need new jack nuts ,I got mine at grainger 20 pcs for 10 bucks!

Easy to put in with a bolt and two nuts. There is a post with pictures on here.

The hole is now over sized by the one pulled out, so I will need a larger than normal bolt?

Mine was deformed too. I flatened it back out and the jack nut has a bit of a shoulder on it and when collapse it ,it holds. shoot me a PM and Ill send you a nut.

I found jack nuts at Lowes. They were the correct size and somewhat cheap.

I am headed to Lowe's this morning (Off for Good Friday) I will look for both, if no luck on the jack nut I appreciate the offer timarr.
How much and how available are the antenna mounts, I wouldn't mine having a couple on the truck just for conversation starters?

You can find antenna mounts on ebay. Last I looked someone had them new in the box (a bit pricey but new). The guards are what are hard to find. When you find them, buy them. If you do not use them someone on here will want them.
