I removed my heater the other day for some potential re-routing and re-configuring, and found this attached to my heater switch... Any ideas?

Looks like a resistor, I think the fan may be 12V, but don't quote me on it.

Its definatly a resistor. It maybe used for a 2 speed heater, or like said above a 12v motor.

The motor is 24v, by the casing. It is a two speed switch, maybe that's what it is..

it's in the manual, resistor for 24 volt fan motor, low speed.
